Our company has two kinds of recruitment procedures.
- Collective Recruitment
- Individual Recruitment
1.2.1 Collective Recruitment
Due to an increase in our activities during summer period, to answer
the need for staff shortage, we employ seasonal personnel. Collective
employment starts at our stations in March. The applications could
be made either personally ot through sending your CV to our mail
address havas_ik@havas.net . The applications
are carefully evaluated and the appropriate candidates are invited
to a take a test.
Our company employs intensively for the following positions:
Operations Officers
Is required to
- coordinate the crew of the flight he/she is responsible for at
landing and departure, the airline representatives and the related
operation units,
-calculate the plane's weight and balance as required by IATA rules,
-follow up the slot and permits, to revise the flight programmes,
-conduct the frequency information and messages to the authorities.
Passenger Service Officers
From the time the passenger enters the airport until he/she leaves
the premises, this position requires that the official is to carry
out luggage, ticket and passport procedures completely and precisely
meeting the requirements of International Standards and Havaş.The
Passenger Service Officer is required to direct the passengers to
the passport control upon arrival and assist the passenger through
any problem that may occur during luggage claim.
Workers
The workers are assigned to loading and unloading of luggages and
aeroplanes'interior cleaning.
1.2.2 Individual Recruitment
Apart from the General Administration and Human Resources Planning
periods at the stations and Collective Employment Processes, for
any individual employment requirements that occur during working
process, the applications sent to our internet site or to our company,
will be evaluated.

Departments according to staff requirements employ officials, experts
and managers individually.
1.3 Recruitment Process
1.3.1 Workers
During the months of February and March according to the needs of
our stations situated at the airports, seasonal collective workers
are employed.
The workers are assigned to loading and unloading of luggage and
aeroplanes'interior cleaning. The candidates should meet the requirements
listed as follows:
- to reside within the reach of employee services or near the
airport
- to be a graduate of primary school
- aged between 18-35
Applications are made in person to one of our stations by completing
an application form provided by Havaş employees to the candidates.
During application, the candidates are expected to bring their id
and a photograph with them. Working hours are designed to meet the
requirements of the shift systems used in our company.
1.3.2 Officers working at the airport (Operations, Passenger
Service, Cargo)
The candidates should:
- reside within the reach of employee services or nearby the
airport
- be a high school graduate
- be fluent in a second language preferably English
- be aged between 18-35
Employment process consists of interviews of the candidates who
successfully pass the Efficiency in a Foreign Language Test and
General Ability Test.
Following the employment process, theoretical and practical training
is provided to the new employees to help them prepare for the positions.
1.3.3 General Management Staff
Each application is evaluated according to the qualities required
by the position and Havaş's basic, functional and managerial requirements
as a company. Suitable candidates are evaluated by the evaluation
center especially designed to outline the requirements of the position.
The candidates who meet the requirements, the abilities and skills
that the position requires are employed.
In order for the new employees get a grasp of the job and company
culture, the first day at work is used as the 'orientation day'
during which the employee learns about the company rules and regulations,
his/her own rights as an employee and an effective body of information
is given in order to introduce the working environment.
