Havaş Includes Air France-KLM Group to its Service Network

Air France – KLM Group, a leading global airlines group, preferred Havaş at the Atatürk Airport. Havaş is increasing its service network day by day and begins to provide ground handling services to Air France, France's national airline and KLM, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands.

Havaş, the well-establish ground handling services company of Turkey, agreed with France's flag carrier airline company Air France and the Royal Dutch Airline KLM. Havaş provides ground handling services to more than 200 airlines at 23 airports in Turkey and 7 airports in Europe. Havaş is aiming at increasing its operations by 17% compared to 2013 with the services it will provide to Air France – KLM Group.

Nurzat Erkal, General Manager of Havaş, said: “As Havaş, we are very happy to make an agreement with Air France – KLM Group for the operations at the Atatürk Airport; the Group is at a very significant position in the global aviation sector with close to 229 million passengers last year. For these operations, we will provide services for about 3,600 more flights per year at the Atatürk Airport. As Havaş Europe, we have been providing our services to Air France and KLM in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin Tegel, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf Airports in Germany since 2012. We have added these services to our portfolio in Turkey with this cooperation. We are continuing to grow with our domestic and international investments.”

KLM Airline has two arrival and two departure flights at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport every day of the week. Air France carries three arrivals and three departures  at Atatürk Airport every day of the week. By the summer season, Air France is expected to increase its daily flights to four arrivals and four departures.
